Brewster Chamber of Commerce Honors 5 Members
The Brewster Chamber of Commerce honored 5 of its Distinguished Members at its Annual Awards Dinner October 22, 2025 at Brewster’s Lakeview Manor. The awards were presented to Nancy Teague, CEO/Founder of Putnam Service Dogs- Business Person of the Year; Kate Corsitto, Sr. Development Manager of the American Cancer Society – Community Leader; Christine Zito, Owner of Tapped Hudson – Rising Professional; George Apap Painting – Legacy Business; and DC Hair Studio & Spa – Customer Favorite.
The Brewster Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organized in 1957, is an active force in our community? with 160 business and non-profit members. It offers many member benefits, and provides scholarships for graduating Brewster High School Seniors. Members enjoy regular networking at dinner meetings, mixers, ribbon cuttings, and educational seminars. There’s a Membership Directory on the Chamber’s website www.BrewsterChamber.com, and they publish an Annual Directory which is distributed throughout the community. Proceeds from their raffles held at every meeting, and fundraising events (basketball hoop contest in Carmel in 2025) providing scholarships for distinguished Brewster High School graduates.
